& Liability Release
Please review these rules and go over them with any minors in your group before entering. By entering the Cat Sanctuary, you agree to the waiver and liability terms below.
For the safety of our cats and guests:
🧦 Socks are required for entry.
🐱 Do not pick up adult cats.
🍽️ Do not pet cats while they are eating or drinking.
😴 Let sleeping cats rest: gentle pets are okay, but do not try to wake them for play.
✋ Respect cat boundaries: Cats do have teeth and claws.
👨👩👧 Children Ages: 3 to 12 require a ticket and adult supervision. Under 3 are free; however, if they become loud or stress the cats, you may be asked to step out. Remaining time is not guaranteed.
👀 Please stay close to your child to help guide safe interactions.
🔇 Use inside voices and walk (no running).
Health & Safety: Starry Night Cat Café is not liable for bites or scratches. If you are bitten or scratched, notify a cat care staff member immediately so we can assist with cleaning and a bandage.
**Important Note: We strive to create a relaxing, home-like environment for our cats. While we hope you’ll see them playing and interacting, we cannot guarantee activity during your visit. Cats may be napping or relaxing.. and that’s a good thing! ats sleep an average of 12–16 hours a day, so rest is an important part of their routine.

Waiver & Liability Release: While our foster cats are cared for and socialized, interaction with animals always carries inherent risk. By entering the Starry Night Cat Sanctuary, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
You understand that: The cafe makes no guarantees regarding the behavior or temperament of any cat. Cats may bite, scratch, or react unpredictably at any time. Cat care staff are present to monitor the space and answer questions but are not responsible for managing individual guest interactions with cats.
Assumption of Risk & Agreement to: By entering, you agree that: You have read, understand, and will follow all Cat Sanctuary House Rules. Failure to follow rules may result in immediate removal without refund and possible refusal of future entry. You are voluntarily participating at your own risk and assume all responsibility for yourself and any minors in your care.
Health & Exposure Risks: You acknowledge potential risks including, but not limited to: Allergic reactions to cat dander, Scratches or bites, exposure to zoonotic conditions, contact with animal bodily fluids (urine, feces, vomit, blood). You understand that these risks may arise from your actions, the actions of others, or environmental conditions.
Medical Responsibility: You agree to be financially responsible for any medical care required as a result of your visit. You acknowledge that you should carry your own health insurance.
You hereby release and hold harmless Starry Night Cat Café, located at 1141 Clark St., Stevens Point, WI, along with its partners, employees, volunteers, and affiliates, from any and all claims, including those arising from negligence, related to your participation.
Property Damage: You agree to be responsible for any damage to the facility, equipment, or property caused by negligence, reckless behavior, or willful actions by you or minors in your care.
Legal Agreement By booking or entering: You confirm you are 18 years of age or older, or a parent/guardian is signing on your behalf. You have read and fully understand this agreement. This waiver is a legally binding contract and cannot be modified verbally. If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in full effect.
Parent / Guardian Consent for Minors If participants are under 18: A parent or legal guardian must agree to this waiver. You accept full responsibility for the minor(s) in your care and consent to all terms on their behalf.
Media Release Starry Night Cat Café may photograph or record guests for promotional purposes.
By entering, you: Grant permission for your image (and minors in your care) to be used in print, digital, and promotional media. Understand images may be edited and used in part or whole. Acknowledge that use may be perpetual and without compensation.
